Owo and Benin has alot in common, in terms of tradition and culture. The traditional rulers of both decendant of Oduduwa. Most of the street names in Owo are also found in Edo state, but more profound in Benin City. Tourist attractions are, the famous Ikogosi warm springs and Oke Maria, Idanre Hills, the highest mountain in southern Nigeria, Iole Iloro water falls, the Ebomi lake, the forest reserves. Festivals include, the Ogun festival, and Igogo festival in Owo.
