U.S. in 1991. Infact, Nigeria Parade is now an annual event in New York
City.

Sponsored Annual Immigration and Income Tax Seminars/Workshops for both Nigerians
and non-Nigerians

Formed the first Nigerian Council of religious leaders to foster unity and
cooperation among them,

In 1992, OAN received a PROCLAMATION from the New York City Council, City
of New York.

Successfully organized the largest Nigerian demonstration and rally in
New York and Washington, DC, to protest the annulment of international declared
free and fair June 12, 1993 election results, the Niger Delta oil related
crisis, the execution of Ken Saro Wiwa and others.

In 1996, OAN created the Adult and Youth Sports Program, including Soccer
League in which Nigerians clubs and organizations compete annually for the
Nigerian Unity Cup and other trophies in soccer, Basketball, and Track &
Field. This was designed to foster unity and interaction amongst Nigerian
Youth through sports.

Established a Scholarship Fund to honor the peaceful memory of a young bright
Nigerian who lost his life in an accident in 1997.

Initiated the establishment of the first Association of Nigerian Lawyers in
New York.
