This state was created out of the old Plateau State. This state is blessed with temperate climate and scenic beauty. Minerals found here are: Limestaon, coal and salt. However, Agricaulture is the main occupation of the people. Crops: rice,yams, guinea corn, groundnut, cotton, soyabeans and apples.
