This state is located in Nigeria Delta. Bordered by Bayelsa, Imo, Cross River and Abia States, it is famous as the third largest producer of petroleum in Nigeria. Additionally, the state also has a large deposits of Limestone, natural gas, coal, and glass sand. The state also has the largest Palm forest in the country. The capital is Uyo. Some tourist attractions include, Uyo Riverinee, the Sand Beaches at Ibuno, Cultural festivals include, Ekpo, Ekong and Ekpe during which women plait their hair in various styles, decorated with beads.
