The area around Ilorin is famous for the Aso Oke cloth, a very rich fabric worn by many Nigerians for parties and special occasions. Ilorin is also known as the southernmost point of the Fulani Jihad. Cneter of attractions include, Olobo Aiyegule lakes, wreckage of Mungo Park boat at Jebba, and the Owe Kajita falls.
